Brenda Murphy writes novels and short fiction. Her novel Double Six won the 2020 GCLS Goldie for Erotica. On The Square, the first book in her University Square Series was a 2021 GCLS Goldie finalist. Music from Stone was a 2023 Goldie finalist as well.  She loves tattoos and sideshows and yes, those are her monkeys.  When she is not loitering on her porch and writing, she wrangles two kids, one jumbo sized dog, and an unrepentant parrot.  She blogs about life as a writer with ADHD offering tips and writing strategies  on her blog Writing While Distracted and publishes a newsletter for writers.
